Size runs larger than the Duo's. I also had 1 aplix start to fall off the dipe (the front panel). I can sew, so I just fixed it. I have no idea why, but they just don't seem as good quality like the Duo's... Love Thirsties, but not these!

In the nine months I have been using these covers, I've only had two leaks. My only complaint is that for the last month my DD has been too big for the small and too small for the medium. There is no over lap in the weight range between sizes. Other than that I would have given five stars. In the mean time, I've had to buy an alternative. Once she grows a little more we will go back to them.

We have nothing but love for our Thirsties covers. We bought these in a size Small when our son was 2 months old and got 3 months of use out of them before he outgrew them. Then they went on loan to a friend for a while, and she used them for several months as well. They still look new. The quality is excellent. The colors are cute. The fit is amazing. We love the leg gussets, keeps everything nice and neat!
The only reason we quit using Thirsties is because we have to have snaps now since our boy undoes velcro, so we use work-at-home-mom covers now, but would have stuck with Thirsties if they came with snaps. They're outstanding covers, and we have only great things to say.

I thought these were awesome diaper covers! NEVER once had a leak of any kind. Held up well in the wash. Well made, good quality aplix...did not fray like some other kinds of diapers I've had with aplix. My only complaint is that on my walking toddler, the wings start to droop no matter what I do which is annoying but doesnt seem to affect the function. great product over all!!

I know that I am in the minority when it comes to these diaper covers, but I'm extremely unhappy with them. I've used many different diapers, and never had the problems I have with these even when the other products didn't meet my expectations.
I purchased several small Thristies covers for my daughter after reading the reviews posted here. They do come in cute colors, and were a good price, but they are terrible quality.
My first impression was good because they looked nice, fit very well and didn't have any issues with leaking, at least not until they began to fall apart anyways. I washed the covers with Charlies soap and hung them to dry, but none the less within a very short time (maybe 2 months max) the PUL cracked and bubbled and the aplix tabs came unsewn and fell apart.
Overall I would not recommend these to anyone. The price may be good, but you definitely get what you pay for with these.

I know that I am in the minority when it comes to these diaper covers, but I have been totally dissatisfied with this product. I am a veteran at cloth diapering and I have used many different products, from prefolds with covers, to fancy AIO diapers. I purchased several large Thristies covers for my son because a friend recommended them. They do come in cute colors. But they are bulky and they do not hold up well at all.
Even though I washed the covers (like all my diapedrs) with Charlies soap and hung them to dry, the PUL cracked and fell apart within the first month of ownership. I called the company and they sent me replacements. The same thing happened to the replacement covers. Only this time, they also came unsewed and the aplix tabs frayed and fell apart!
I barely got any use out of these covers due to the problems. They were always my ""last-resort"" cover. Not to mention, they leaked and gave my son terrible red marks on his legs.
Overall, the quality was lacking with these covers. The price seems good, but only if you actually get use out of them. I've known other people who have not had the problems that I have had, but I won't risk wasting more money on thirties covers. You get what you pay for with these.

We never had a leak but I wish they would have been a little more durable. I washed and dried mine every 3 days and within 3 months the insides started to crack and peel on 1/2 of the 10 I owned. They would probably have lasted longer if I had not always put them in the dryer, but other PUL items I own are fine after 6 months of every other day to sometimes daily drying. After cracking they did wick a little when used overnight but still worked pretty good. I stopped using them when my LOs outgrew them. They fit well, are priced well, and come in a lot of colors. I don't like velcro and wish they came in snaps. I don't know that I'll buy anymore, I now use blueberry OS coveralls that I adore, but I will keep my thirsties to use on future LOs.

This is THE diaper cover I recommend to anyone who asks. Thirsties offers it all. A nice quality cover in cute colors for a reasonable price! I've used these overnights even with just a prefold and have never had even one leak. The fit is great, I have been using my size medium on my daughter for over 2 years now and it still has room to grow. I thought this diaper couldn't get better and then they came out with Duo Wraps just in time for our 3rd child, I can't wait to start using them.

Love these! My kids have chunky thighs and I ordered according to their weight. The cover did appear slightly bigger on them then expected. I was sure I was going to have some leaks but none at all! I love the fact that all you have to do is whip them out and put in another insert. It really cuts down on my laundry during the day. I've also tried them at night and they worked great to my surprise! I highly reccomend these. If you're looking for a good diaper cover please please try thirsties first!

This review is for the V2 sized covers, not the new Duo covers. These are great covers - we used them for the newborn/EBF stage and didn't have a single blowout! We are still using them now. Most people will say that these run large, but I actually liked to have my baby wear them a bit looser (due to chubby thighs) and they still worked great. Available in a whole rainbow of fantastic colors. Easy to wash clean, although the gussets do tend to stain easily.

holds in the NB poo. no blowouts with a thirsties cover on.
made large didn't fit for a couple of weeks after birth and went down to his knees. bought more smalls as the next size up. fits well past weight limit with pinned or snappied prefold. i don't like just laying in a prefold as it sags like a sposie that hasn't been changed enough, but all covers did the same thing any time i've tried it with either child. does hold a doubler in well though, without the sagginess. will update later with durability, though the V1 i had for DD held up well.

I bought these from the Thirsties Outlet, so technically they were ""seconds"". We used them while DS was a newborn and then we tried a few different styles of diapers besides PFs. I'm now going from AIOs to flats with covers and decided to go with Thirsties because they did so great before. So quick and easy, we were really impressed with how good they did. They were better than disposables at keeping the mess contained and they were cute colors, to boot! I highly recommend these. Oh, the larges that I just ordered were shipped within 2 hours and arrived the next day. I'm very impressed with their company and cover!

These are awesome. If I could do it over, I would have only bought these.. well okay and maybe a couple baby bee-hinds because they have different colors.. but thirsties are the best cover all in all. The fit is great, and versatile. I find myself using three sizes at the same time, because you can really adjust them to make them fit however you need them too. The only time anything escapes these covers is if I neglect to tuck the fitted or prefold underneath the cover completely. I wash and dry these with all my other diapers, and don't do anything special for them, and they seem to be holding up great. I like the bold colors the best, and the newborn size fit well even on my ten pounder.

These are hands down my FAVORITE diaper covers. I have been using them since my son was first born. The cover is very thin and trim, but generously sized to go over a fastened prefold or fitted diaper. The leg gussets catch even the runniest of breastfed poop. The tabs can be fastened over each other to get a really tight fit when you are at the bottom of the size range. These covers are sized bigger than other covers, we were in extra small for almost 4 months, long after he had outgrown other newborn covers.
The inside has laminate which is easily wiped clean between uses and overall the cover washes and dries very quickly. I have found the velcro tabs to be very durable (moreso than my other covers) but we line dry which might contribute. Thirsties come in fun bright colors and my only wish is that they had prints!
This is a very reasonably priced cover and definitely well made. We always reach for our thirsties covers first!

I tried several covers with our prefolds and these are by far the best! We did not have any leaks with these! About 2 weeks ago we ordered the new Thirsties Dup Wraps & I am in love with those even more! Thirsties definitly has the diaper cover mastered! I love, love, love the leg gussets!

These is the best diaper cover I tried, INITIALLY, but when Thirsties came out with their Duo Wraps, I fell in love, and was very happy I'd only bought one of these wraps to try, because all 6 of my wraps are the Duo Wraps. Buy the Thirsties Duo Wrap instead of this wrap!!!! The colors are even sweeter. But if you find these on clearance or something, I say go for it because there is nothing wrong with this wrap at all. Thirsties are my favorite.

This was a great cover at first but the Velcro tabs began to wear out after about 8 to 10 washes. I emailed thirsties about this and they wrote me right back and said I could mail it to them and have the tabs replaced. Great customer service...but I never mailed it in, too much trouble. I just use other covers instead.

I purchased Thirsties as part of my stash before I had my daughter, and they were by far my favorite covers. They fit her for a long time, they rarely had leaks (usually caused by me not covering the diaper properly or going too long between changes), the gussets were great for keeping in poo, I love that you can use them over and over until they get soiled instead of washing every time you change the diaper and they are very trim. Also the colors are cute and the price is right! Of course no product is perfect, and as some others have mentioned, the velcro will snag on the elastic causing it to pill some, but it doesn't affect the usefulness of the diaper. Also, the elastic does stain sometimes because it is white, so it would be nice if it was a darker color. I found that when washing these with my homemade fitted diapers, the velcro from the diapers would catch on the covers and kind of snag the fuzzy side of the velcro as well as the pul sometimes. But, all that said, the problems are all minor and the pros far outweigh the cons - I can't wait to try the new Duo!!

I was using fitted diapers and covers. This was great. I used to have a couple of bulkier diapers and the Bummies cover did not fit well. This one held better. No leaks, no red marks. No chains in the washer/drier.
But it got old fast. The bummies were like new condition while the thirsty was pretty wore out!
Light and breathable. I'd recommend it.

I initially loved these wraps and recommended them to all my friends, until I purchased the Medium size. My son fit great in the small, but when he out grew that size I purchase the medium and it still does not fit him at 2 1/2 years. It sags no matter how many prefolds I put in it and leaks because the sides fold down through the leg holes. I don't believe my son is small, I just think the medium size is too big. I recommend the small, but not any size larger. Don't buy a whole set of mediums until you try one!

I purchased this cover as part of a sampler pack. The small has been a great fit on DS from 3 months, 12lbs to 7 months, 18lbs, and he still has some room left to grow. This cover has a nice rise, not too high, and never leaves red marks anywhere. I feel like this is a fairly trim cover. The cross over tabs allow for a good fit and have never come undone in the laundry. I've never had a leak in it. Even when the breast fed poo ran out of the flat, the Thirsties contained it.
I'll be getting another as soon as DS outgrows the small. I would definitely recommend this cover to anyone!

I really like Thirties for the NB/Sm sizes, but once you get to Med, they just aren't my favorites. They have never fit my son right and the front always folds down, exposing the diaper which causes wicking with his shorts. I have tried different diapers, loosening it up, tightening it, pushing it down, pulling it up - no use. Also, the velcro rubs his tummy raw when it does this. I bought a V2 hoping to would be better, but still had the same problems, plus the PUL rubbed off after just a couple of washings. For smaller babies, I really like the fit over prefolds and they really do contain some messes.

I don't like the fit on my daughter. The cover also appears to be showing wear a lot quicker than any of my other covers. The PUL doesn't look like it will hold up and I've never dried it in the dryer, I always hang dry to make it last longer.

this diaper cover isn't my favorite (too thin for me), but i love their deep leg gusset. Great for my skinny baby. doesn't leak. the reason for my 4 is that because it's so thin, the front part tend to fold in at times. Other than that, it's a great diaper cover.

I am new to cloth diapering and I LOVE these covers! I use them with prefold's and there are never leaks unless I let it go to long without changing him. They are soooo easy to clean and I like the fact that you can reuse them, just take the wet prefold out and pop another one in and away you go!!! If any ""solids"" get on the cover just wipe it out and put in the washer (don't reuse:)) These covers are reasonably priced and come in cute colors. And they look pretty comfy!! I actually just purchased more in a bigger size as my son has grown out of the smalls. Can't wait for them to get here!

Love these covers. We started out with Bummis and had leak issues. Never had a leak with these. They fit snugly and they are trim and fit well under clothing. They work well with a fitted diaper or with prefolds. I started out with just a couple Thirsties in my stash and now I am replacing all of my covers with Thirsties covers. They are the best!

I have tried several different diaper covers and this one has to be my favorite. I have two babies just fourteen months apart and the younger one is a lot bigger than the older one, so I have used them on both of my daughters. Since I have started using them I hardly get any leaks. I'm not sure how durable they will be though. I have always air dried them, but the elastics are fraying and one of them has started to leak right through the cover when my baby has a very wet diaper. I have heard that could just be a problem with detergent residue though. Overall I have been very happy with these covers.

This cover works very well. I used it for about a month and am still using it. We have had no leaks and I did buy this product a little big for him at first since we were so close to the pound change. My only problem is the space between the velcro & the top of the rise is not large enough and the top of the cover turns inward leaving the velcro to scratch my LO's buddha belly (small waist). It continued to do this well after his being within the correct pounds for the diaper size. Because of that we will be looking for other covers but this one was great in every other way.

These are my favorite covers because of the color selection and the fit. I've had probably one or 2 leaks through these covers ever, and they were likely because the cover wasn't put on tight enough.
That said, I would be happier if the trim/velcro was not white, because the poo that does leak out stains the trim.
I still have recommended this to my friends and will continue to buy them as my baby gets older.
The sizes do run a little on the big side, they didn't fit my newborn as well as some others, but 1-2 weeks later they had the best fit out of all of my covers.

I know everyone loves these covers, but the leg gussets leave horrible red marks on my son. I thought maybe I needed to size up, but that didn't help. The cover still left red marks and was too big around the waist in the larger size. My son is a small guy, so it wasn't because of super chunky thighs. I gave it a 2 rating because they never leaked on me and looked super cute.

This is a great diaper cover except for the way it fits my girls. I don't know if I am using the wrong size, but the cover falls down really easily. I have it velcored as tight as it will go and the side wings that don't have the velcro on them fall down by their legs. This causes leaks and frustration. :(
I do love this cover for my babies that aren't crawling or running around. great colors, great coverage for the non-moving babe :)

These diaper covers are our favorite. Because they are not perfect, I cannot give them a 5. We have 4 of covers in medium that we use regularly. Before that we had 6 small covers that we constantly used. We rarely have leaks with these covers. When we do have a leak, it is almost always because someone did not put the cover on correctly (ie the cloth diaper was not completely covered – usually around the legs).
I love the colors they come in. I love the gussets around the legs. I love that the Velcro makes it possible to have a really good custom fit every time. I love that they don’t leak.
The only downside to this cover is the Velcro. I have noticed a couple things over time. First, the Velcro can catch on the stitching of the diaper (like around the legs) and it gives the diaper cover a ragged appearance. Second, and more importantly, the Velcro is starting to wear out on some of the covers. It is getting shaggy & does not hold quite as well as it used to. And lastly, the baby likes to “help” open up the diaper cover. He cannot do this with the diaper covers that have snaps. On the other hand, the diaper covers with snaps don’t fit all that well (or stop leaks as well).

Love, love these covers!! Pros: They fit great, they are cheap, my husband loves that he doesn't have to use snappies, the colors are great, they wash easily, they are trim.
Cons: They stain and they wear a little with washings (I line dry). My ebf poop has stained all the elastic parts. Maybe they should make that fabric a different color and it wouldn't be noticable!

My favorite covers!!!! I have had no issues with leaks at all, and the fit is great. I love that its real trim. Others have said these are big, but I've found I've had to move up sizes way before my baby reaches the suggested weights because of his chubby thighs. The tabs would be almost touching still but it was just too tight on his thighs and I started to have leaks. Once I moved up to the next size it was back to a great fit and zero leaks.

Oh my goodness, these have become our favorite covers! The colors are just gorgeous, they are super trim, and they don't wick. We love them! They don't seem as well sewn or as high quality as Imse Vimse or Bummis Super Brite covers, and they might wear out sooner. But it seems like these covers will last longer than any baby will wear them for, anyway.
They are one of the best overall, reliable covers, great for overnight. The new sizing seems to be better for chunky babies (or thicker diapers underneath).

I am pretty new to cloth and have been on a search for a good cover for my chunky little baby boy. I tried the medium at first and it left terrible red marks on his chubby thighs so I switched to a large and it is a great fit for him! I like these covers much better than the bummies. I like the leg gussets especially and I appreciate the fact that the fit is generous. I thnk the gussets help prevent little lines from too tight diaper covers on babies legs. I also have noticed that the edging material on the thirsties seems to resist pilling better than the bummies.

These are very cute, and if you have a very large child maybe u could use these. It was hard for us to find a cover big enough to fit my kid. But these are just huge. For my 2 1/2 year old, the large size was just waay to big. She's still wearing them with the tabs touching!! And they still fall off when she runs around!
The leg gussets are a great idea, tabs are good, colors are cute, and they are a nice thin material, but I find this is our ""last resort"" dipe when all the others are in the wash simply because of how poorly they stay on. It's also very bulky between the legs, and tend to leak or at least feel damp on the outside rather quickly.
But if they work well for other people...maybe I'm missing something? Maybe I bought the older version I dunno!

love my Thirsties Covers!! When I initially did my research I didn't think I would be using a prefold/fitted and cover because I considered it to be ""double diapering"". Turns out I was wrong and it's all because of these fantastic diaper covers!
They are easy to use. If you are using a prefold, just fold it in thirds, tuck the front under the flap on the Thristies and you're ready to put on baby. If there is any pre-fold hanging out the back side of the diaper, the easiest thing to do is remove the diaper, roll the front of the prefold down an inch or so, then re-tuck the folded part of the prefold into the flap in the cover.
I have yet to have one leak on me. They wash great. They are so easy to use (thanks to Velcro.) They pack great in the diaper bag. I even use mine as a night time cover as long as I have a doubler in my pre-fold.
It has been said that Velcro doesn't hold up as well as snaps but I don't believe this to be true. If you get 'stuff' in the Velcro, wash and dry it, then clean the 'stuff' out with a toothpick. If your Velcro starts to get less sticky, wash it then dry it in warm heat because the hooks will retract and become sticky once again.
I would recommend this diaper cover to anyone!

This rating is for the version 1 extra small cover. This was one of our favorite covers for the newborn stage. Loved the umbilical swoop, plus a generous fit for use over prefolds or kissaluvs in our experience. Our daughter was a healthy 8 pounds at birth, a bit roly-poly and we appreciated that the legs weren't too tight and didn't leave marks on her, and the cover lasted us through 15 pounds so we definitely got our use out of it.
That said, the tabs started to fray after a bit (not just on the one I bought used, I subsequently bought another in size small and it also happened). I don't like the fit as much in the larger sizes, and I now prefer covers without velcro (who wants to wake a baby up to change, or have the tabs come undone in the wash to cause much destruction :). Still, I would buy this cover again in the extra small size but not in the larger sizes, and they may have fixed the tabs in the most recent version.

I started out really loving these covers (and the fitted diapers), but after about 2 months, the velcro tabs started pulling away from the fabric to the point that they were no longer usable. I was very disappointed, because I had hoped to use these diapers/covers through our next child as well. I contacted Thirsties, and they said these defects were very rare, but they happened to every single diaper and cover I owned, even though I followed the care instructions to the letter. I got three Thirsties Covers from a mama on Diaperswappers, 2 had been washed and one the tag was still on it. I was so excited cause I had heard such great things about them. I immediately washed them with my next diaper load. I tried them several times but they just don't fit my daughter. I was sad. The mediums just seem so darn big, but the small is too small. It really pains me to give this cover a 3 but...the sizing is only ok. Overall I love this cover, I really do, but my 23 pound 11 month old is too thin for the medium cover and the small is too short (he's 31.5 inches long). As he's become more active his cover has gotten too big. I LOVE the leg gussets, the lightness of the cover, the colors! Were it not for fit issues this would be a big, giant 5! I'm hoping he'll grow back into these. I just wish the fit was better for the long, slim baby.

I love this cover! I have the original version and haven't tried v2 yet. I've used this with CPFs, Crickett's fitteds, Under the Nile fitteds, & Thirsties Fab Fitteds with no problems. I haven't had a leak yet even with the runniest BFP. The best part is the gussets. It fit a little lower on the leg when my baby was tiny and was a bit awkward then, but now that she's a little bigger, it fits great. I used Proraps with my older daughter and liked them alot. When my new baby was born I had to give the Thirsties covers a try. I carry Thirsties in my shop and vow to try everything that I sell. I have to say that for new babies these are the best! I use them with the Fab Fitted and Pre Folds and they never leak. Even with BF poo. Thitsties has a nice selection of colors and they are very durable. I mostly line dry mine, but have put them in the dryer with no problems.

I love this cover. It fits beautifully over my trimmer turned fitteds and my fluffier fitteds, like the bamboo Sandys. I love it combined with a FabFitted. It also dries out nicely between changes so I can use it twice and sometimes even three times a day! While I'd like to branch out and try more covers, I'm afraid I won't like them as much as a Thirsties!
I also give an A+ to Thirsties customer service...my first cover had a small hole in the leg gusset where the stitching did not catch the binding. I contacted Thirsties, and they sent me a postage-paid label to send the defective cover to them, and turnaround was super fast.

We love these covers! They fit fabulously over our assortment of fitteds and I normally don't need to double-check the legs or back to make sure all of the diaper is covered which is not the case with most of our other covers. The gussets really keep the EBF poo contained on my slender 10 lb 4 month old. DS still uses the XS, though the S is longer in the rise and covers the bulkier fitteds better. While the fit is generous we are still easily able to get a good fit and never have any leaks! I've tried other covers (BSWW, Imse Vimse, Cot-n-wraps) but find the Thirsties to be far superior. Thirsties are a top seller for my store and they are great on my daughter. They fit well, though we did size up from the XS earlier than the weight guide predicted due to my daughter's long rise. Her petite build means the tabs of the Smalls almost touch. These are great at stopping leaks and I use them over most of my fitteds and prefolds. They don't fit over Mother-Ease one size, but fit fine over Sheepish Grins bamboo one size. They fit great over premium baby size prefolds and even over her medium Firefly diaper. We use these in rotation with Sheepish Grins wool covers and Bummis and the Thirsties are super easy to use.

I love these covers. They fit great over any diaper, and are pretty trim compared to the BSWW I tried. I feel they have held up great with washing. I do line dry them, though.
The only reason I gave them a 4 is because the PUL can snag and get little holes in it, which causes leaks. I've had to put waterproof spray on a couple of my covers, and another one is starting to leak and will need to be waterproofed. The dryer didn't work on them to seal the holes, unfortunately. However, I still recommend these covers. Just be careful with them.

This diaper just started to fall apart on me, and I'm not sure if I'll replace it with another Thirsties. It worked well for the money paid, but I may invest in another one that will last longer. I usually used it with a prefold fastened with a Snappi.
Pros:
- Easy to wipe clean
- Dries quickly
- Leg gussets worked well for my daughter
- No blowouts
- Lightweight = not too hot in summer
Cons:
- Smells from a #2 permeated the diaper into my daughter's pants, requiring a change
- Sometimes felt like I couldn't get the waistband tight enough and a wet prefold leaked onto the waistband of her pants
- While cover kept messes contained, it never seemed like a snug fit around the prefold (""baggy"")...that's not my personal preference (used a Medium; daughter was nine months through eighteen months and approximately 17 through 24 pounds)
- Threads around hook-&-loop band started pulling out and are now completely separating the band from the cover (probably can fix this myself)

Love these diaper covers. They fit my baby very well and I've never had a problem with leaks or ""blow-outs"". My husband thinks very highly of them too, so that says a lot. I bought 6 of the x-small size for my newborn (which was the perfect number) and he could wear them until he was 15 pounds, even though the sizing said it was for up to 12 pounds. We just bought 5 of the small size and they are also great and I suspect he'll be able to wear it longer than the 18 pounds it recommends. I also have tried the LiteWraps and Bummis Super Wraps and still prefer the Thirsties. The Bummis are a close second, but they are thicker and stiffer than the Thirsties. I know some people have said they've had problems with the laundry tabs not working properly, but we only had that problem once when I forgot to close the tabs on one cover after I'd already put it in the washer and it was wet - I think that makes the tabs less effective. So definitely make sure they're fastened before putting them in the wash.

We had one XS Thirsties cover that worked well from about 1 week to 8 weeks old on my daughter. Now (since about 12 weeks, she's 16 now) we have been using two in the medium size, the fit is not good right now, but she's still a bit small for them. They are definitely one of the gold standards that works well for a broad range of people. But I wouldn't rave; it's not really special.

I like the colors of these covers and I rarely had a leak; also, they stretch to fit over lots of different diapers- I'm only giving a 3 though, because the velcro is already gone on one of them even though I only used it 4 months, in rotation with lots of other covers, so I'm not sure if it's a dud or if they aren't that durable. I purchased one XS Thirsties cover before my daughter was born based on the advice of another diaperpin mama, and I wish I could remember who to thank! We tried Proraps, Dappis, and BSWW, and Thirsties are the only wraps we use on our daughter. They are the only ones that fit snugly yet comfortably around her skinny legs and also her little buddha belly. We rarely get red marks or indentations on her legs or middle. The material is thin enough to smoosh down well under her clothes. This allows her to wiggle and fold herself up however she wants, unlike the BSWW which seemed too stiff for her to really get comfy (she protests when we put on a stiff cover). We use prefolds with a snappi and prefolds stuffed with doublers with a snappi and they have never ever leaked or wicked, even her massive EBF 'splosions.
We had to size up so I recently ordered several of the ""new"" style - they are even better than the old style I first tried. The gussets are a sleeker design and the wings have a double layer where the tabs are sewn for increased durability and decreased wing droop.
The colors are great and they have not faded or transferred at all, and they've been washed on hot every other day for two months. The laundry tabs are great and have never come undone in the wash. The interior can be wiped out for freshness between changes. When machine washed, the covers line dry in a couple of hours if the aplix/velcro tabs are open.

I bought this diaper cover to try because we are considering this item to sell in our B&M baby store that carried cloth diapers. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this cover. It looks so similar to the Bummis Super Brite but fits my daughter much much better. We have the medium, my daughter in 15 months and 21 pounds and she wear the cover with the tabs overlapping, so in my opinion, the medium fits quite large. That being said, I love the bit of elastic on the tummy panel, helps keep the top of the diaper underneath from creeping up, the since layer of pul keeps the cover nice and trim, and the leg gussets seem to protect her little thighs from any red marks! Also, the cover fits well over any diaper, even our bulkiest night time fitteds! I prefer wool covers over PUL, however this Thirsties cover has me re-thinking my stance!

It is very trim!

I absolutely love the Thirsties covers! I use them on a daily basis with my prefolds. We just snappi on a prefold and away we go! I swear by my Thirsties cover and a prefold, leak proof, cleans well and a great price!

I do see why this is a favorite cover, that's why I gave a 4. But it is not one of my favorites.
Pros
1. Easy to wipe out
2. Cute colors
3. Fits great when you are at the small end and the large end of the size requirements
4. Doesn't hold stink like many others
5. It really does do it's job at holding in messy jobs
Cons
1. High rise which makes it difficult to use with a prefold not fastened. It always bunches down. I have to snappi when using this cover.
2. High rise again which makes the diaper stick out the top of all my daughters clothes.
3. The velcro quality. It comes un-done from my daughter moving around. She doesn't even have to pull on it. This may be because I washed it in the machine for the first few months instead of hand-washing. But it's supposed to be able to handle the wash.

I call these old dependable. I haven't experienced a leak yet, the gussets are so great at keeping all the yuck in. Have used with snappied prefolds, pinned flats, trifolded prefolds, and multiple fitteds and haven't found a diaper it didn't work well with. They come in such cute colors, I purchased a few so that I could match them to my baby's outfits.

I love these diaper covers! They are very well made and stand up to a lot of use. They have laundry tabs, which is great, and the leg gussets are nice and big for my skinny legged baby!

I absolutely adore my Thirsties Covers. I have some that have literally, I do mean literally, been washed every day for a year. I use them on my twins and while after 365 washes they are starting to show some wear, the remain leakproof and I can still rely on them.
These are a must have for any cloth diapering family!

This cover is definitely not my favorite, the last that I grab for. The sizing is really weird. My daughter is 14 months old and we have mediums and they are huge on her. Also, the PUL has cracks in it around the tabs and one of them started to unravel on the front velcro part. That is actually the only reason why I gave it a 3 instead of a 1 because the customer service for Thirsties is wonderful. They emailed me a prepaid label to send it out and have it replaced and it was super fast.

We love these diaper covers for their fit, colors, and durability. The leg gussets work well. They are less bulky than some covers. The sizing tends to run on the big side. Made in USA- love that. The velro works well to keep it trim. My only criticism is that some of the leg gussets are now discolored (they were white) from breastmilk poo. I wish more stores carried these instead of the prowraps.

I bought these covers when my daughter was getting too big for her pockets, which is what we use the most. They are fabulous. They are easy to put on, with strong velcro tabs, and the BEST feature is their double elastic leg gussets that don't let anything out, especially with a very active toddler. We use them mostly at night with a thick fitted underneath. Love 'em!

After trying several brands of covers, this is our second favourite (after Imse Vimse Organic covers).
Leg gussets are a must for us, and these ones worked great. I did find that sometimes they left red marks though. These covers contain blowouts well and are quite easy to wipe off and reuse between washes. Also they come in lots of colours, which is always nice!
My main complaint about these covers is that the velcro tabs are so small. Now that our son is older and very squirmy, we've switched completely to the Imse Vimse covers, as they are easier to put on.

We love these diaper covers! We tried Bummi SWW and Bummi Super Brites, but the BSWW didn't have double leg gussets and blow-outs always leaked outside the diaper, and the Brites (with the double leg gusset) worked okay, but the velcro would rub our DD's stomach and thighs as she reached (but had not surpassed) the top weight for the size.
Thirsties have been great at containing leaks, are cheaper than the others we tried, and are easy to clean. The only reason we give them a 4 and not a 5 is because the laundry tabs just don't hold the velcro down in the wash for us. It might be because of our new front-loader washing machine, which spins far faster than our old top-loader did, but the diaper chain is a pain in the behind nonetheless.
As other posters have noted, these diapers do run large. We have not had problems with pinching or gaping around the legs and for us the velcro has not once rolled to touch our kiddo's skin.

These are just really good, basic PUL covers. I've tried 3 others and like these best. (although i only use wool now)
Gussets are good. Pretty colors are good. The velcro is small enough that there are no abrasion problems.
Only complaint is there was a while when my son was in-between sizes.
If you have to chose one PUL cover this is a good bet.

I love these covers! I also have some other covers that are similar but don't have the inner leg gusset....and it makes a huge difference. Unlike the other ones, Thirsties covers haven't leaked, even on my son who loves to blow out at the thighs. These covers hold it in! I love that they dry quickly, come in a lot of cute colors, and are soft, not plastic-y feeling. They wash well- just make sure you use the laundry tabs as the velcro does a number on the leg lining, as I found out the hard way.
These are not only a great price, but a great quality as well.

LOVE these covers. I use them frequently with prefolds and fitteds and I have never had a blow out, leak or any problems with them. I reach for these covers before I reach for anything else. They are lightweight and dry very quickly. They keep my daughter's clothes dry which I can't say about some of the other covers that I currently have. Will definitely recommend and buy more of these!

These are my favorite covers. I love that they fit big because they last for a good long time. My DS is 11 months old and 23 lbs. but he still has lots of room in the mediums. They don't leak when used with a prefold or a fitted. I love these covers!

I only give these a 3 because they have not leaked. However, I do not use them anymore because they simply do not fit my daughter well. According to all measurements, she should fit into the med. but it is WAY too big on her, while the small is too short in the rise. The wings droop and the velcro folds over and scratches her tummy (probably due to the large size). These just did not work for us. Perhaps there should be a size between the med and the small.

Thirsties are the hands down best cover I have tried. The fit is great and accomodates any prefold or fitted. Love the colors, I own the entire Thirsties rainbow in a variety of sizes. Loved them in XS for the newborn period and explosive BM poop.

I really like this cover. It has never leaked, fits good and dries fast. I like the leg gusstes for containment. My only complaint is that it is a bit loose for using a trifolded prefold. The prefold will eventually wiggle around on active kids, so you should snappi or pin. But the xtra room is terrific for using with fitteds. Has enough room for night bulk.

I have been greatly disappointed by these covers even though I am still using them because they are the only covers I have in this size and I am on a limited budget and do not want to replace them with my 2 year old on the verge of potty training. I purchased 4 covers in October and by Christmas the velcro was fraying on one and the stitching was coming loose on the trim of another. Since then all of them have developed splits near the fasteners, probably because the large sizing of these covers. I have to overlap the velcro in the front for my thin little boy, he needs the size large for the rise, and often the diaper sags around the velcro creating extra strain at this point. They also wick urine badly for me, this again may be a fit issue but it is very frustrating to deal with. Probably an ok value for a chunky baby but I don't recommend for thinner child. I wish I had stuck with my Bumkins.

I love these diaper covers. These were a part of my first diapering system a long with snappied prefolds and if they weren't so easy to use, I might not have stuck with it. The choice of colors is wonderful. I love that they are just one layer of PUL, with the shiny side touching the diaper, so it's easy to do a quick wipe and reuse all day long. The only possibly negative thing to say is that the companies size chart is off. This really isn't a bad thing, since it meant I could use a medium on my 30 lb daughter.

I tried Bummis Whisper Wrap, Bummis Super Brite, and Thirsties diaper covers (I use them with prefolds), and these were by far the best covers! I have never had a problem with leaking or wicking when using these. They generally last through several diaper changes, making for less laundry.

I have used these covers for the past month on my chunky-legged baby. So far I love them! They have held in many major blow-outs. They are easy to use and they clean up easily. I can reuse these for multiple diaper changes before washing (meaning that I need fewer covers). I worry a little about the breathability of the covers, but my baby hasn't had major diaper rash with them. Compared to similarly priced covers, I would go with the Thirsties.

Such cute colors available, and would be a great choice for us if it would only fit. The fit is bad on my DD--in order to get the waist tight enough, it makes the leg openings too tight and leaves red marks. I tried several times to get a good fit, but it just wouldn't work. The ones I bought used were in great condition except the tabs were starting to curl and fray on the ends. The tabs seemed like they weren't especially sturdy.
Anyway, if they will fit your LO, they seem like a nice cover. But they just didn't fit for us.

I love these covers. I tried many covers rated for daytime and nighttime but these just work the best for us during day and night. I use them over Thristies Fab fitted, fitted diapers, and Crickett's hemp diapers. They don't leak on my son and wash up nicely. While some other covers are showing wear early, I see none on these yet.

I have no complaints about this cover. We have xs Thirsties and newborn proraps to go over our KLOs, and the Thirsties work much better. The proraps won't hardly fit over the fitted diaper. Plus, I love that the Thirsties are less stiff than the other covers we've had, and the fit seems much smoother. And the double leg gussets are great. I would highly recommend this cover.

I really like the Bummi's Super Brites so I was excited to try these. While my DD is well within the size range for a Small, these were quite tight on her. I also don't like how far down her leg they cover. Bummi's just fit DD better.

I bought 4 x-small covers for my then newborn. They fit great, keep poo and pee contained. They wash well, even the velcro, and it's washed daily (usually-but not more then 2 days).
When it came time to size up I skipped the smalls because my son fits the mediums in waist and legs. The rise is too high right now, but I need them to fit in the waist and legs. They are still washing well, but I don't like them as much as I used to. They don't fit big, in fact they seem to fit well with some room to grow, but they aren't containing the poo like they used to do. These are the only covers I have so we still use them regularly, but I am looking into other options.
So these are great for xsmall and probably small too.

It hasn't leaked but, that is the one of the few positives I have for this cover. Don't like the exposed PUL. The velocro is not as nice as the BSWW. The leg gussets are a pain. They leave red marks each time I use them. I thought the gussets were going to be a must. I found I don't need them. My BSWW does a great job without them. The colors selection is nice though. I gave it a three for the colrs and the fact that is hasn't leaked yet. Wish I had skipped this purchase.
